Google announced that May 2020 core update is rolled out completely through its official Twitter account.
It took about two weeks to completely roll out. Google told about this update to us 2 weeks ago. In our previous blog dated 6th May 2020, we have already introduced with this new update and what it is about. This update began on May 4, 2020, and fully rolled out by May 18, 2020.
This is a big core update of Google, affecting all the websites and it is the time to review your analytics to see if this update had an impact on your site. Although the reality is, by now you must have seen the impact either negative or positive. But now, when we know that rollout is complete it is safe to analyze the impact on the website.
Google has advised on what to consider if you are negatively impacted by a core update in the past. There are not any specific methods defined to recover, and in fact, a negative ranking impact may not signal that anything is wrong with your web pages. It is often hard for a website owner to find out what he/she needs to do to reverse the effects of any algorithmic update. And in the case of Google update, it is harder to do so. Although, this Google update is broad and covers a lot of overall quality issues. So, if your website is also affected, it is advised you to step back from it all, take a complete view of your website and analyze what you can do to improve the overall website.
